The Ethics Agenda is a robust plan of action laying out current outstanding bills, provisions, amendments, and initiatives that must be passed in order to establish critically-needed whistleblower protections and codify them into law. The needed legislative actions are: Urge the Senate Homeland Committee to confirm members to the Merit Systems Protection Board. Fix the Anti-Money Laundering Act and strengthen anti-money laundering whistleblower protections. Defend COVID-19 whistleblowers and enact reforms to the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Fund the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Whistleblower Program. Stop the” Repeal by Delay” of the IRS Whistleblower Program and pass the Whistleblower Program Improvement Act of 2021. Pass the reform amendments to the False Claims Act from Senator Grassley. Enact whistleblower protections for climate change and wildlife trafficking.
